Amazing Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska
Glacier Bay National Park Alaska is located in the southeastern section of Alaska. Encompassing over 3 million acres of land, Glacier Bay National Park Alaska is sometimes referred to as the Crown Jewel of the National Park system.
The Glacier Bay begins to the north off Icy Strait. It continues for over 60 miles through the mountains, and then terminates in the bare rock and glacial ice. The center of Glacier Bay National Park Alaska was once hidden under a vast ice sheet. Then, in the late 18th century, European explorers began to chart the adjacent waters. Eighty-five years later, the American naturalist and writer John Muir would discover that the glaciers had receded more than 30 miles.

The lakes are situated on the eponymous Plitvice plateau, between the mountains of Lička Plješevica (Gornja Plješevica peak 1,640 m), Mala Kapela (Seliški Vrh peak at 1,280 m) and Medveđak (884 m).
The sixteen lakes are separated into an upper and lower cluster formed by runoff from the mountains, descending from an altitude of 636 m to 503 m over a distance of some eight km, aligned in a south-north direction.

Waterfall at Kursunlu National Park, Turkey
The Kurşunlu Waterfall, Turkish name Kurşunlu Şelalesi, is located 19 km from Antalya at the end of a 7 km road branching off to the north of the Antalya-Serik-Alanya highway at a point 12 km from Antalya. It is reduced to a mere trickle in the summer months.
